István Bácskai Lauró ( Budapest , May 14, 1933 – Budapest , August 13, 2020) Hungarian film director and screenwriter. He was born as the child of István Bácskai and Erzsébet Lauró. He completed his secondary school studies at the Vörösmarty Mihály High School . In 1957, he graduated from the Academy of Theater and Film Arts , where he was Sándor Sára's classmate.
