Wu Yifan (吳亦凡; November 6, 1990), known professionally as Kris Wu (크리스 우) or as simply Kris (크리스), is Chinese-Canadian former singer and actor. He was a member of the boy group EXO and their sub-group EXO-M, before leaving the group in May 2014. On 31 July 2021, Wu was detained by Beijing police after multiple rape allegations emerged on Chinese social media. In August 2021, the People's Procuratorate of Chaoyang District of Beijing approved his arrest on suspicion of rape. On 25 November 2022,
