Norman Fell (born Norman Noah Feld; March 24, 1924 โ December 14, 1998) was an American actor of film and television. He is most famous for his role as landlord Mr. Roper on the sitcom Three's Company and its spin-off, The Ropers. His film credits include Ocean's 11 (1960), The Graduate (1967), and Bullitt (1968). Early in his career, he was billed as Norman Feld. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1924, Fell graduated from Temple University with a bachelor's degree in drama. During World Wa
