From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Edith Evanson (nรฉe Carlson; April 29, 1896 โ November 29, 1980) was an American actress of film, character and television during the Golden Age of Hollywood. She was born in Tacoma, Washington, where her father was a Protestant church clergyman (a religion to which she adhered throughout her life). Her first job was as a court reporter in Bellingham. On March 15, 1923, she married Morris Otto Evanson (1893-1975). The couple had no children Her first film
