Born in Istanbul in 1991, Elçin Afacan graduated from the Theater Department of the Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory after completing her education at Adı Güzel Fine Arts High School. She made her first appearance in the 2015 series "Gamsız Hayat" (Gaamsız Hayat), followed by a role in the 2016 program "Görevimiz Komedi" (Our Mission Comedy) and, that same year, her breakthrough in the series "İçerde."
