Born in San Antonio, Texas, Jordan directed multiple episodes of Family and has helmed numerous television movies, several based on real persons as diverse as Benjamin Franklin, George Armstrong Custer, Lucille Ball, Christa McAuliffe, and Karen Ann Quinlan.
