Elizabeth Lawrence (September 6, 1922 – June 11, 2000) was an American actress, best known for her long-running role as Myra Murdock Sloane in the soap opera All My Children from 1979–1991. She had roles in other soap operas: Guiding Light, As the World Turns, A World Apart, and The Road of Life. She is also known for her roles as Chloe Williams - blind mother of Julia Roberts' character Laura Burney - in Sleeping with the Enemy (1991), Mrs. Blair in We're No Angels (with Robert DeNiro, Sean Pe
