After graduating from the Department of Fine Arts, Faculty of Art and Design, Onomichi City University he joined studio AIC.
Currently affiliated with WIT Studio.
His animation bears heavy influence from Yoshinori Kanada with the added aspect of *Sumi-e* brush painting techniques, resulting in very characteristic lineart. He first attracted attention with his work on Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
Married to Maiko Okada.
