__Hiroyuki Yoshino__ is a Japanese script/screenwriter and series composer.
Since the beginning of his career he has been working with Studio Sunrise, he has scripted various of its anime including Mai-HIME, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Mai-Otome.
Upon graduating from the Waseda University's School of Literature, he went on to become a teacher of world history at a high school. After this, Hiroyuki joined the staff of Tokuma Shoten's Animage magazine as a writer. It was in this magazine that the Sunrise producer Furusato Naotake offered him a position in the studio as a screenwriter.
Since joining Studio Sunrise, the first series in which he was the head-writer, as well as the series composer, was the series Mai-HIME, followed-up by Mai-Otome and Mai-Otome Zwei. He also went on to supervise, as an extension to this work. Hiroyuki has also authored the manga adaption of Mai-Otome (alongside Tatsuhito Higuchi), and went on to write numerous other manga series.
