**Mankyuu** is a Japanese director and storyboard artist who became known for his short flash animations. After graduating from the Faculty of Intercultural Communication at Hosei University he worked as a freelancer before joining the animation company DLE in 2006. In October 2009 he joined the newly found production company Gathering where he worked until March 2017 after which he became a freelancer again.
