Graduated from the Department of Visual Media, Faculty of Media Design, Nagoya University of Arts and Sciences. He began sharing animated clips online as a teenager and attracted the attention of people in the industry, being invited to work on Anime productions while he was still a student.
He is generally regarded as a pioneer in digital animation.
