Overview

A collection of nine surreal short stories sharing a theme of water. 1. Obon (おぼん, Bon); Comic Ryu 2008-09 A young boy ponders family affairs around Bon. 2. Watashitachi wa Mada Tochuu (私たちはまだ途中, We're Still on Our Way); Comic Ryu 2009-10 An astronaut cadet must figure out his motivation if he is to succeed and go into space. 3. Fusion ; Comic Ryu 2009-01 When the ultimate form of love is fusion, the government must work to stop a declining population. 4. Nante Kanashii Hoshi (なんて哀しい星, Such Sorrowful Stars); Comic Ryu 2008-08 In a near-death experience, a man meets a solitary girl running endlessly. 5. Engai no Kisetsu (塩害の季節, Salt Damage Season); Comic Ryu 2009-12 A young woman is captivated by marine “vortexes”. 6. Umi no Otenki (海のお天気, Sea Weather); Comic Ryu 2008-04 A girl follows a schoolmate home only to realize she lives under the sea. 7. Gyuu (ぎゅう, Squish); Comic Ryu 2009-06 A girl can see things she calls “squishes”, transparent blobs all around us. 8. Meltism (メルトイズム); Comic Ryu 2008-06 If we are the same as the planet, what separates us? 9. Ki Setsu Sui (季・節・水, Season Time Water); Comic Ryu 2008-01 The world adapts to the changing of the seasons.
