Overview
A chain reaction in the European power grid plunges the continent into darkness. Hacker Pierre Manzano realizes that a code he wrote is to blame. In Germany Frauke Michelsen heads the country’s crisis response team. Disaster looms.

Darkness - Day One and Two
Pierre Manzano is facing a huge power outage. He soon realises that something is badly wrong. Frauke Michelsen, deputy director of the German Crisis Committee, is in the middle of a nightmare.
In the Lion's Den - Day Three and Four
Pierre comes face to face with the police, who ask him about his past as a hacker. Frauke, exhausted from looking for his daughters, confronts the executives of the central European energy companies.
Chaos - Day Four and Five
The daughters are still missing, but Frauke continues to work hard to keep everything under control, and realizes that the problems are just piling up.
Into the Heart of Darkness - Day Fix and Six
Pierre arrives at the hospital in Berlin, but CID follows right on his hocks. Frauke must make decisions to avoid a nuclear accident.
Abyss - Day Six and Seven
Pierre has managed to find his old gang of friends. Conversation about the past brings emotions to the surface. The reunion of Frauke's family is interrupted by creepy news.
Light - Day Seven and Eight
rauke and members of the crisis unit are working feverishly to get diesel and avoid a nuclear accident. Pierre helps CID, so he has to admit that he knows more than he has suggested.
