When Chris joins the school newspaper and is bullied by his former friends, he rejects technology. Meanwhile, his dad is doing great in his new job.

Chris has become a hipster, the sworn enemy of the emo clique, while Dad is still depressed over losing his wife.
The Dance!
Chris and Jessica go to the homecoming dance together ironically where Dad's former band, The Bleeding Toes, get back together.
Lies and Betrayal
Emo Dad is back and admits what he's been up to, but Chris will have none of it. Meanwhile, The Bleeding Toes get big news.
