Overview
Local police officer Sergeant PJ Collins is a gentle man who hides from people and fills his days with comfort food and half-hearted police work. He is one of life's outsiders, lovable, but lonely and a bit rubbish at his job. When the body of long-lost local legend Tommy Burke is discovered, PJ is called to solve a serious crime for the first time in his career. Unearthing long buried secrets, PJ finally connects with the village he has tried so hard to avoid.

Episode 1
When human remains are found in a sleepy Irish village, Sergeant PJ Collins finally has a genuine crime to solve. The gruesome crime threatens to expose a lifetime of secrets.
Episode 2
When a key suspect vanishes it casts an ominous shadow over the investigation.
Episode 3
A month has passed and with no new leads the case has fallen dormant. As the village tries to put the terrible events behind it, PJ is left harbouring doubts about what really happened. When a new discovery reignites the case, PJ is forced to confront everything he has learnt so far.
Episode 4
When PJ uncovers the truth behind the body, Duneen is changed forever. No longer able to turn a blind eye to those around him, PJ is forced to confront his own personal demons as he attempts to bring the killer to justice.
