Overview

Orphaned at a young age and drowning in her father’s debts, Anastasia spent her days starving despite being a noble. One day, her uncle, Count Everdeen, proposed to pay off her family’s debts if she agreed to get engaged to his enemy, Duke Theodore. Having no better alternatives, she accepted her uncle’s offer and moved to Theodore’s palace. Despised by Theodore and his servants, all kinds of mistreatments awaited Anastasia, from ruining her dress to serving her rotten food, with the last straw of Theodore telling her it was a good thing her parents died.
