Overview
When his widowed mum, Maggie, sets fire to the kitchen, recently-single Arthur Gbeme moves back in to the family home, only to realise he is facing life in a hilarious purgatory in which the eccentric and electric Maggie calls the shots.

The all-new Mother and Son returns in the continuing misadventures of the ever mischievous, occasionally muddled Maggie, who runs rings around her neurotic thirty something stay-at-home son Arthur.

When Arthur notices Maggie's hearing has started to decay, he comes up with creative ways to force her into acceptance. But it's soon revealed that Maggie isn't the only Boye in denial about their shortcomings.

When Maggie reveals that she's been keeping a $30,000 nest egg "for a rainy day", she becomes a target to her own conniving kids, not to mention the endless other scammers preying on Australia's elderly.
