Overview
The story took place in Tianjin in the 1920s. The whereabouts of Zhou Pu Yuan, the master of the Zhou mansion, is unknown due to the involvement of the Jiangqiao incident. The housekeeper Lu Gui had no choice but to bring Zhou Ping, the young master of the Zhou family, from Wuxi to manage the property.
