Overview
Two English brothers with different, clashing personalities become live-in home renovators for a notoriously finicky couple with strong opinions.
About This Season
Newly based in Brighton, Trevor and Joe take on a schoolhouse conversion as well as rival builder, Nick Costello, who feels undercut by the brothers and is out for revenge. Trevor has ill-advisedly fallen in love with Nick's little sister, and Joe has started an affair with their site architect.

Episode One
Trevor and Joe Purvis are working on a Brighton site for local developer Nick Costello, where Trevor catches the eye of Costello's younger sister Clare.
Episode Two
Nick Costello works to stir up bad feelings against his new competition. Joe proves his worth to the Marriotts.
Episode Three
Pippa and Geoff feel that they are suffering from the Purvis' incompetence. Trevor's first date with Clare is interrupted when Nick plants evidence in the Purvis' transit van.
Episode Four
Clare confronts Nick about his attempts to frame Trevor. Viv's ex-husband arrives in Brighton to compete with Joe for her affections.
Episode Five
Trevor is released from jail and begins to obsess over his future with Clare while Purvis and Purvis struggle with asbestos and overdue loans.
Episode Six
Nick and Richard battle the Purvis brothers. Viv and Joe mend their relationship.
Episode Seven
Trevor feels left out when Joe and Viv discuss a joint business. Clare and Trevor get back together.
Episode Eight
Joe's Auntie Maureen discovers her husband in bed with his mistress.
