About This Season
The mini-series "The Mothers" reveals the stories of six children who form a relationship with their new teacher Yavora. In each of the six families there is a hidden or obvious problem. For this reason, Yavora, whom the children almost idolize, becomes that missing mother they all dream of. Nikola is a withdrawn teenager who is skeptical and condescending towards his parents and their activities. He is devoted entirely to books, communicates with few classmates, and finds support in his friendship with his class teacher Yavora.

Dana is the top student in her class. She pays attention in class and helps her classmates. They, in turn, reciprocate, because they know her family's poor financial situation. Despite all the problems, Dana believes in her family unconditionally.

Alexander was adopted by Marina and Peter. He is a calm, well-mannered and well-intentioned boy. However, he experiences painful sensitivity due to his adoption.

Deyan is truly suffering from his parents' separation and especially from the loss of his sister, with whom he has a very strong bond. He is not on good terms with his father, with whom he lives after the divorce.

Kalina is a quiet and introverted, but intelligent girl, whose father figure was taken over by her grandmother Sia. She does not know life as it should be for a teenager. Her everyday life revolves entirely around her self-centered mother.

Leah lives in her own world, woven from music, movement, and joy. Her dreams make her slightly distracted by everything else, except for dance - where she is fully focused, responsible, and dedicated.
