Tabi to Boku to Neko

Mamoru Nekogami (Daisuke Nakagawa), a travel writer with the mysterious ability to talk to cats, visits Ito in Izu for a work assignment. There, he meets Yuka (Rika Adachi), who is searching for her missing pet cat. Guided by clues from local cats, Nekogami helps her in the search.

Travel writer Nekogami Mamoru, who can talk to cats, visits Oshino Hakkai to cover Mount Fuji’s winter scenery, where he reunites with his first love, Airi. As old memories resurface, a cat at the inn offers him unexpected guidance.

While covering the scenic sights and cuisine of Choshi, Nekogami helps search for actress Miharu and her missing cat, Milk, who have fled the filming set—leading him on a frantic chase around the harbor.

While reporting in Utsunomiya, Nekogami learns the magazine he works for may be discontinued. Lost in uncertainty, he follows a cat’s cry for help to a Chinese restaurant, where he encounters a young man with plans to revive it.
