Overview
The New Zealand Intelligence Agency’s on the hunt for new recruits. When the agency places an ad in the newspaper, only three decidedly unlikely candidates respond. Thrown headfirst into the murky world of espionage, the mismatched trio fumbles its way through betrayal, romance and escalating absurdity.

The Recruits
After 2 weeks of training, New Zealand's newest spies - and the only 3 who applied - Michael Riviera, Sue Nightingale, and Michael Anderson are thrown into their first mission.
The Games
Undercover as an athlete, coach, and chef, the spies are sent to Christchurch for the 1974 Unity Games to protect the Indian Foreign Minister from being assassinated.
The Informant
Ignoring Boss’s orders to rest and recuperate, Michael follows a lead to a Marlborough vineyard. Meanwhile, Sue teams up with a British spy in hopes of uncovering valuable information.
The Train
On a train to Auckland, the spies hatch a daring plan to intercept a briefcase of classified New Zealand documents before it lands in the hands of Dennis Green in the next carriage over.
The Island
Michael travels to the Abel Tasman to save Anderson — only to be betrayed by a familiar face.
The End
With only hours before Dennis Green’s plan succeeds, the spies must act fast — and together — to save the nation they swore to protect.
