Tropic of the Sea

Itadori Yuji is a high school student with exceptional physical abilities. On the night his grandfather dies he meets Fushiguro Megumi from Jujutsu High. Fushiguro had come there to retrieve the cursed object that Itadori had picked up, but it was currently in the possession of Itadori's upperclassmen who were trying to remove its seal. The upperclassmen are then attacked by monsters drawn there by the cursed object as Itadori and Fushiguro race to their rescue.

Itadori wakes up in an unfamiliar room and before him rests Gojo Satoru, a teacher at Jujutsu High, who declares Itadori's secret execution has been decided upon. Gojo presents Itadori with two options. He can be executed immediately, or he can hunt down all 20 of Ryomen Sukuna's fingers and die after absorbing all of them...

Itadori, Fushiguro, and Gojo head out to meet up with the third first year, Kugizaki Nobara. Thereafter they head to an abandoned building where Gojo tasks Itadori and Kugizaki with exorcising the curses lurking inside. Once inside the building, Itadori and Kugizaki split up to look for the curses and Kugizaki faces off against a cunning curse that takes a child hostage.

An emergency breaks out at a juvenile detention center and Itadori, Fushiguro, and Kugisaki are dispatched to handle it. Their mission is to verify and rescue any survivors left inside with the curse womb that could develop into a special grade cursed spirit. Itadori and the others storm in to find a merciless reality waiting for them. Immediately thereafter, Kugisaki disappears and the special grade cursed spirit appears beside Itadori and Fushiguro.

After retreating outside the juvenile detention center, Fushiguro notices the death of the special grade cursed spirit. The very next moment Ryomen Sukuna appears beside him and rips Itadori's heart from his body to take him hostage. Fushiguro begins fighting Sukuna to prevent Itadori from dying when he regains control, but he becomes painfully aware of the difference in their strength.

Gojo stews in his frustration over Itadori's death. Both Fushiguro and Nobara are depressed by their teammate's death, but they begin their special training with the second year students to get stronger. Meanwhile, Geto and the others begin to make their move. And during all of that, the dead Itadori...

While in transit Gojo is suddenly attacked by the special grade cursed spirit Jogo. After launching several attacks that never hit--Jogo comes face to face with Gojo's strength. In an instant Gojo returns to Jujutsu High and easily picks up mid-training Itadori which causes Jogo's anger to erupt. He takes his next move, to which Gojo--

While they're training for the exchange event, Kugisaki and Fushiguro come face to face with Kyoto's Jujutsu High second years - Zen'in Mai and Todo - who challenge them to a fight. Todo overwhelms Fushiguro with physical strength. Meanwhile, Kugisaki is disgusted by Mai's comments and says something to provoke her, but-

Yoshino Junpei skips school to go to a movie theater, but then he witnesses the classmates who bullied him getting their faces transfigured and dying. He chases after the culprit and calls out to them. Later, Itadori and the ex-salaryman first-grade jujutsu sorcerer, Nanami Kento, storm into the scene of the crime within the theater and encounter two cursed spirits.

Itadori is placed in charge of investigating Yoshino, so he turns to his assistant supervisor, Ijichi for a plan. Their plan to have a low-level curse attack Yoshino and gauge his response fails, so Itadori speaks to him directly. After watching Itadori ultimately drive away the teacher he hated, Yoshino decides to hear him out. Meanwhile, Nanami has pinned down Mahito's base and he delves into the underground sewers to face Mahito.

Mahito corners Nanami, but he releases the limiter on his cursed energy, destroying the wall of the underground channel with Ratio Technique: Collapse, and causing rubble to rain down upon them. Meanwhile, Itadori makes contact with Yoshino and they hit it off after talking about movies. He meets Yoshino's mother, and after being invited into their home, more is revealed...

Mahito deftly uses Yoshino's admiration toward him to make him fight Itadori. Yoshino races toward vengeance and Itadori exchanges blows with him to try and make him explain his motive, which leads to him learning the cruel truth from Yoshino's lips. That's when Mahito creeps up beside them and--

Nanami steps in at the last second to save Itadori from Mahito's blow. Then Itadori and Nanami match their attacks together to ensure they can exorcise Mahito. Mahito pulls out his transfigured humans in an attempt to mentally drive Itadori into a corner, but Itadori manages to overcome them. As Mahito grows trapped under their rain of blows he senses his pending death and--

After escaping from Itadori and Nanami, Mojito reunites with Geto and the others to try and move their plan forward. Meanwhile, Jujutsu High is about to host its Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event. Fushiguro, Kugisaki & the second years, Maki, Toge, and Panda all meet up to greet Todo and the other Kyoto students on arrival. Sparks immediately start to fly when Gojo rushes in late to the meetup and presents his surprise--

The Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event's group battle begins. Kyoto's Todo rushes to attack the Tokyo students, but Itadori takes on the role of stopping him and faces off against him. Itadori's overwhelmed by Todo's power, but suddenly Todo asks him what kind of woman is his type--

Todo points out that Itadori's Divergent Fist is a technique that won't work against special grades. When Itadori genuinely accepts his advice, Todo decides to face him and guide him with his full might. Meanwhile, Kugisaki picks a fight with Kyoto's Nishimiya. From the sidelines Mechamaru fires an attack at Panda, sparking the start of their battles with Kugisaki against Nishimiya and Panda against Mechamaru.

The Exchange Event's Group Battle continues! Maki and Miwa face off, but Miwa can't hide her surprise at the overwhelming strength Maki displays despite her grade ranking. At the same time, Kugisaki pursues Nishimiya as she flies around on her broom. Nishimiya talks about Mai's hardships and what it's like to live as a female jujutsu sorcerer, but Kugisaki cuts her off and counterattacks. Then Mai reveals herself and-

Battles are starting to be decided in different locations on the first day of the Exchange Event. Fushiguro faces off against Kamo, the heir to one of the three major clans. Kamo uses Blood Manipulation, a technique that controls his own blood, while Fushiguro fights him with shikigami and martial arts. At the same time, Inumaki uses his Cursed Speech, a technique that amplifies the power and compulsion of words, to advance the competition. Suddenly Inumaki senses an unfriendly presence and turns around to find-- Unexpected developments begin at the Exchange Event, and the outcomes of their fights will be--

The special grade cursed spirit, Hanami, suddenly intrudes on the Exchange Event. Fushiguro, Inumaki, and Kamo face off against Hanami, defending themselves as they race to cross the veil. The three are driven into a corner when Maki joins the fight and strings together a chain of attacks in combination with Fushiguro. However, even with that, they're still forced into dire straits by Hanami's overwhelming prowess. Then--

Itadori and Todo join the battle against Hanami. Itadori lands his Black Flash, and his Todo unleashes his cursed technique as they keep up their combo attack. Alongside his "brother", Itadori, Todo overwhelms Hanami with his tricky cursed technique and his clever, (self-proclaimed) 530,000 IQ mental CPU, but--

Gojou has driven Hanami away with his overwhelming strength. Mahito reunites with Hanami, who's on the verge of death, after stealing Sukuna's fingers and the Special Grade Cursed Object, Death Painting Wombs 1 through 3. They're steadily making progress with their preparations to seal Gojou Satoru on October 31st. Meanwhile, those with Jujutsu High are unable to discern the cursed spirits' objective. Considering the damage that was done, they nearly cancel the exchange event, but for some reason, they end up settling it through baseball. It's Day 2 of the Sister School Exchange Event, and it's time to play ball!

Three men have died under similar circumstances from a cursed spirit. Investigators discover the victims all attended the same middle school, so Itadori, Fushiguro, and Kugisaki are dispatched to investigate. Once they arrive, they learn it was Fushiguro's old middle school. There they learn that the victims were all found unconscious beneath Yasohachi Bridge, a local haunted location. They also learn that Fushiguro's older sister, Tsumiki, is caught up in this incident as well--

In addition to the curse of Yasohachi Bridge, Itadori, Fushiguro, and Kugisaki face off against Kechizu, one of the special grade cursed objects: Cursed Wombs: Death Paintings. The three start fighting within the barrier of Yasohachi Bridge's curse, but something suddenly seizes Kugisaki's arm and drags her outside the barrier. Itadori and Kechizu chase after her, leaving the barrier. Left behind, Fushiguro quickly takes of the Yasohachi Bridge curse--until he witnesses a shocking sight. Meanwhile, Kugisaki faces off against Eso, another one of the Cursed Wombs: Death Paintings. Then Kechizu and Itadori catch up and join her--

The Cursed Wombs: Death Paintings, Eso and Kechizu, face off against Itadori and Kugisaki, but the two being to rot after they're bathed in the blood of Eso and Kechizu. Driven into a corner, Kugisaki hammers a nail into herself to activate Resonance and start a game of chicken with the brothers. Itadori refuses to stop and continues to attack Kechizu, but-- This whole mission began with one of Ryomen Sukuna's Fingers, so will Itadori, Kugisaki, and Fushiguro ultimately make it home to Jujutsu Tech safely?
