Jang Bo Ri Is Here

Bo Ri is next in line for Seoul's most prestigious hanbok houses. An accident that strikes her family one unfortunate rainy evening brings them to a mixup and separates her from her biological parents. On the other hand, her step-sister Min Jung has the ultimate plan to steal all of what Bo Ri rightfully deserves. Regardless, the truth is a tough cookie to bite on for the family, and Bo Ri's kind innocence makes things easier for her step sister's diabolical plan to push through.

Bo Ri gets curious about the competition, so she asks her grandmother about it. One of the pieces that were made goes missing, and the family gets worried about it. Grandmother has someone in mind who possibly could be the thief behind the horrible act, but it's an accusation she can't easily prove. In Hwa wants Soo Bong to give up on moving to the United States.

In Hwa finds out that Soo Mi had taken the scissors for the competition. She is still shocked that those scissors still exist and is furious that Jong Ha had been caught by her mother-in-law. She comes back home and struggles to face Soo Mi, who now wonders why she acts so strange. She's now asked if she had committed a sin after the suspicion against her.

Oak Soo ends up lying after discovering that In Hwa is the woman behind the sold hanboks. She struggles to keep the truth, but at the same time, she's also worried that if she does spill the beans to her mother-in-law, who happens to have just opened her heart to In Hwa would lead to more pain and difficulty within the family.

Oak Soo finds something odd about In Hwa's plans to visit the airport under her claim that it'd just to check on someone. With In Hwa's promise to Eun Bi's father that she'd follow to the United States if she lost the competition, she acts rashly in desperation, which leads her to circumstances that would hurt more than just herself in the family. It's now a battle on who gets to keep their sewing needles to continue.

Soo Mi only sees lies coming out of the mouth of Oak Soo after she goes crazy on her hospital bed, blaming In Hwa for the accident that took place on that sad rainy evening. Oak Soo is sure that In Hwa was at the scene and even proves it with a hairpin she found at the accident. In Hwa, however, came prepared with another identical piece which disproves her sister-in-law immediately.

In Hwa and Soo Bong find a familiar drawing, which makes them think that the artist is their daughter. Unfortunately, she's just another girl who knows how to draw. Eun Bi is nowhere to be found. Min Jung's mother finds out that Min Jung had gone to Seoul to join the competition, so she's furious at Bo Ri for not telling her about their plan. Jae Hwa doesn't know when his good friend would come back.

Bo Ri bumps into her grandmother on the train, but doesn't realize it. She accidentally leaves her hanbok, which makes Soo Mi realize that her granddaughter is still alive. Min Jung graduates, and In Hwa and Soo Bong pay her a visit. She however gets quite disappointed to see her mother and sister soon after.

Oak Soo meets Bo Ri and decides to teach her how to make hanboks. An eager Bo Ri gladly agrees and is excited to learn so much more. Bo Ri is set to learn how to make these traditional garments for formal events down to baby onesies with this in place. This is the biggest blessing Bo Ri receives despite the curse of bad luck in her life. On the other hand, Min Jung is just begging to learn the ways of the hanbok from In Hwa, even if she's already late in age.

Though Min Jung still lacks in her sense of style, she's got a good taste for panache in hanboks. This attracts Jae Hee and makes him reveal that his father is the chairman, which ensures Min Jung that he can make her reach the red carpet. On the other hand, Bo Ri reveals that her mother disapproves of her studying the art of hanbok. Oak Soo is curious as to why knowing that she was able to get the permission beforehand.

Even if Bo Ri hasn't gotten her mother's approval, she wants to make it to the hanbok competition as a model for Oak Soo's custom design. She wants to prove herself, even if she's got no clue what the rest know about her. Min Jung wakes up to blood on her bed and buckets of sweats pouring down her head. Jae Hee offers her help, but she refuses to get treatment at the hospital.

The hanbok competition day has come. Oak Soo, Min Jung, Bo Ri, and In Hwa make their way to the building separately, and the possibility of bumping into each other is quite slim. Bo Ri's exhausted because of the long walk, while Min Jung is excited to win in comfort. The contract Bo Ri signs get ripped off by Min Jung immediately after the siblings meet after the meeting. Min Jung is in disbelief.

After Bo Ri decides to dissolve her relationship with her sister Min Jung, the battle between them intensifies. Choi Yoo Ra goes missing, which makes things harder for Min Jung, and Bo Ri needs to go home before sundown. In Hwa is worried that she and Min Jung would be embarrassed for losing the event that they started with Jae Hwa and the chairman. It's now the test of hanboks in the heart of Seoul.

Jae Hwa and Bo Ri get closer over their bibimbap meal, but everything gets ruined by In Hwa and Soo Bong's unexpected visit. They look for Oak Soo, but Bo Ri denies her knowledge till they leave. On the other hand, Jae Hwa hides in fear, worrying that his presence might lead to him and Bo Ri getting into deeper problems. A quick-witted taxi driver saves Min Jung from her short-term college date.

Curiosity is stirred once again after Min Jung's mother brings home an abandoned child. Bo Ri wonders where the child came from, and Oak Soo seems to find something fishy with the way the baby is handled at home. Jae Hwa is encouraged to bring home a woman after how he's been during blind dates. Now Bo Ri takes the baby to the hospital because of its bad fever.

Bo Ri's mother wants her to take care of the child. Bo Ri intends to take care of the child since she was also once abandoned and found. On the other hand, Oak Soo doesn't want Bo Ri to take care of the child, considering that her uneducated self would just lead to detrimental effects on the child being raised. Bo Ri still doesn't know who bore the child and her true relationship with Oak Soo.

Min Jung belittles Oak Soo, telling her never to allow the past to happen again. The confrontation continues as Bo Ri gets into the picture. With little to lose, Bo Ri starts getting feisty with her older sister. What Oak Soo and Bo Ri don't know is that it's all a bluff on the end of Min Jung, who fights desperately to save herself from drowning the sea of a hard life.

Min Jung is set to leave for another country, so she rushes her way to the airport. Bo Ri and her mother Oak Soo do their best to catch her before her flight. Bo Ri sees a familiar drawing from her past, which leads her to not feeling so well. The memories of her past disrupt her reality, which in itself is already a screw-up. Jae Hwa also bids her sister a farewell, who is set to leave Seoul.

Bo Ri makes her way back home upon the request of Soo Mi and Oak Soo. In Hwa isn't very happy with this decision. She tells Bo Ri that their home is no place that accepts any guest, but Soo Mi demands her to stop leaving immediately. Min Jung is back in Seoul after her flight arrives at the airport. She gives Jae Hee an unexpected call.

Bo Ri, who enters Min Jung's room, finds the drawing she once taught her how to make. She asks her older sister why it's here, and she then realizes that it was the piece that led her to the financial support from In Hwa and Soo Bong. Min Jung, who also stands in fear, tells her younger sister to scram and grabs the painting from her. Soo Bong overhears their argument and now wonders what the truth is.

If the family realizes that Bo Ri is actually Eun Bi, and Bo Ri recognizes In Hwa and Soo Bong as her family, Min Jung has no place in their lives anymore. With this in mind, Min Jung is now out to find ways how to stop the inevitable from happening. In Hwa and Soo Bong, now notice that Min Jung had been acting quite strangely recently.

Jae Hwa takes Bo Ri to bed—a hospital bed, that is. They agree on speaking casually from now on. His heart flutters for Bo Ri every time their eyes meet, while Bo Ri can't handle the heat whenever she's with him. In Hwa and Soo Bong are figuring out who Min Jung is, as the fraudulent daughter finds her way around the deception she and her biological mother had made.

Min Jung is caught red-handed by In Hwa and Soo Bong while she mingles with her mother. The couple finally debunks the relationship between the two women. Just as we thought everything would run smoothly already, Min Jung decides to stir the story up again, which complicates Bo Ri's life even more. To add to that, Hye Oak's got more to say to Bo Ri that prevents her from speaking ill against her legitimate daughter.

Bo Ri and Min Jung meet by the station after Min Jung says she wants to have a word with the child. To their disappointment, a bigger wall between the two siblings just got taller. Jae Hee sees them from the other side of the street and offers the mother and daughter tandem a ride home. Min Jung, whoever so hates Bo Ri, declines on their behalf. Bi Dan remains clueless about who her birth father is, as Min Jung is curious how Bi Dan came into existence.

Eun Bi, the lost child, has been found. Soo Bong receives a phone call from outside Seoul about the details of Eun Bi. The whole family is in shock with the great news. This, however, could change once Min Jung decides to interfere again to get herself away from imprisonment. This time, Min Jung's mother is volunteering information, but the certainty of the justice Bo Ri deserves is still a hazy dream.

Bo Ri seems to have a memory that fits the exact picture she sees as Jae Hwa washes up in the garden. It's too familiar to be true, and he thinks she's just hurt. Min Jung continues to play the role of the Head Seamstress's child. On the other hand, Oak Soo realizes that Bo Ri is, in fact, Eun Bi. The accident and the date of birth align with all the facts, but there's just no chance Bo Ri gets her true identity just yet.

Someone calls Bo Ri about Bi Dan. There's a man who wants to claim her, saying that he is the biological father. In excitement, Bo Ri makes her way to the legal office to sort matters out. Min Jung meets an unexpected visitor on her way out, and he threatens that he'd find his daughter that she abandoned. Bo Ri, unfortunately, finds out that she can't give her daughter away just yet, because of an unresolved issue with the birthparent.

A package sent brings suspicion to the family. The past is suddenly brought up again. This past reveals that it really was In Hwa who burned the competition dress, and this makes Soo Mi regret the things she had done towards Oak Soo all these years. Soo Bong and Min Jung are left clueless on what to do and how to help. Ji Sang offers Bi Dan a bike, even if Bo Ri finds it too expensive of a gift.

Soo Mi is in shock beyond her belief upon opening the box that supposedly contains the First Lady's hanbok. It's a bright pink, the color she never dares to wear. Along with Jae Hwa and Bo Ri, Oak Soo rushes to the scene with a new garment set. They hope to make it on time, but traffic had to stop them around the corner. The rest of the family are unsure what to do other than assist the nearly fainted matriarch of their clan.

Hye Oak admits that she was the woman behind the act. She tries to be Bo Ri's mother for once after years of being Min Jung's mother. She says she deserves to die. She also presents compelling evidence that incriminates Min Jung. The tables will turn after Soo Mi makes an announcement and a denouncement of leadership.
