Gihan asks Farid to force his wife Dr. Ghada, a gynecologist, to quit her job. Farid asks Gihan to wed the millionaire Ghazy but she refuses. Gihan tells Samir that she can't marry him because she can't give up her father's fortune.

When Farid assaults Ghada for being late at work, his friend Adel interferes and saves her. Amal becomes the provider for her family as her husband starts studying for his PhD. Adel tells Farid to treat Ghada better or else he will lose her.

Gihan refuses to have Ghada at her wedding. Ghada is upset with the way Farid is treating her and the fact that he gambles her money away. As Farid forges Ghada's signature on a check for ten million pounds, Ghada tries to figure out a way to pay it off.

Farid enlists Adel's help as a mediator to convince Ghada to return home. Gihan tries to approach Samir who rejects her after she decided to wed another person. Adel pays off the check for Ghada's sake. Ghada refuses to come back home.

Amal tells Ghada that her friend Nay likes Adel. Gihan informs her friend that Ghazy is footing the bill for all the marriage expenses. Ghada has a dream that she is married to Adel. Gihan continues to pursue Samir who keeps rejecting her.

Farid takes two months rent up front from Mrs. Ludy and asks her not to tell Ghada. Adel marries Nay. When Ghada is wrongfully fired from her hospital, Amal resigns in protest. Gihan marries Ghazy but continues to live alone as he is always in Africa.

Ghada helps Nay give birth to her daughter, Ribal. Amal wants to have a baby but her husband wants to get his PhD first. Gihan has a baby and buys a new mansion. Farid starts gambling again. Gihan learns that Farid sold the villa without telling her.

When Amal's husband grows furious after she gets pregnant, Amal asks Ghada to give her an abortion but Ghada refuses. Farid dies in an accident after leaving a gambling hall drunk. Gihan apologizes to Ghada for the insults she suffered because of Farid.

A creditor threatens Ghada if she doesn't repay the 50 thousand dollars that Farid took from him. Nay feels that Adel doesn't love her. Amal's husband purposely keeps his distance after she gets the abortion. Adel warns the creditor off.

When Gihan runs into Samir at a cafe and tries to call him, he tells her that he is in a relationship. As Nay admonishes Adel for paying too much attention to his work, she starts to suspect that something is happening between him and Ghada.

Ghada tells Adel that Nay is suspicious of them. Gihan and Samir have an affair. Gihan asks for a divorce and Ghazy gets her to give up her son's custody. As Gihan marries Samir, Ghazy refuses to let her see her son.

Nabil deceives Ghada's daughter to get a job at the hospital as he dates another girl. Samir tells Ghada that Gihan's psychological condition is getting worse. Nay's health deteriorates after her kidneys fail.

Amal blames her husband for not allowing her to have kids as he neglects her for his work. Ghazy tells Gihan that her son is an addict. As Gihan takes Kamil to live with her, Samir gets angry when he learns that Kamil is an addict.

Adel warns Ghada about the young men who surround her daughter Joud. Nay is transferred to the hospital. Adel tells Ghada that he regrets letting the years pass without marrying her. Nabil proposes to Nana but she doubts his intentions.

Gihan refuses to send Kamil to a rehab facility like Samir wants. Adel takes Nay to another hospital to get away from Ghada. Ghada refuses to wed. Nabil and Sana plot to deceive Ghada's daughter Nana.

Wessam is upset with Joud for keeping her distance. When Nana tells Ghada about Nabil's proposal, Ghada warns her against Nabil. Adel becomes a minister and refuses to import medicine from Indonesia. Nana asks Adel to convince Ghada to approve her marriage to Nabil.

Nana marries Nabil without telling Ghada. When she tells Ghada, the latter refuses to help them financially. Kamil breaks down after he goes through withdrawal. Ghada thanks Wessam for putting up with Joud's behavior.

Sana breaks down after Nabil weds Nana. Amal is saddened that Ibrahim refuses to have kids. Samir asks to meet Lara. Adel battles the rampant corruption in his ministry.

Ahmed tries to mediate between Ghada and Nana. Ibrahim tells Lina that he is unhappy with Amal and that he is considering divorcing her. Ghada agrees to forgive Nana but stipulates that she doesn't see Nabil.

When Adel survives a terrible accident that was premeditated, Ghada accompanies him to Paris to seek treatment. Amal is angry with Ibrahim because of his aloof behavior with her and Adel. Samir meets Lara as he continues to clash with Gihan over Kamil. The doctors grow worried about Adel.

Nabil goes back to Sana and tells her that his life with Nana is unstable. Samir insists for Kamil to go to rehab or he and their children won't come back home. Nabil urges Nana to take money from the hospital behind Ghada's back, but Dr. Ahmed warns her against it.

Despite her illness, Nay goes to Paris to be with Adel. Ghada looks after the comatose Adel. Samir decides to go to Paris to see Adel. Ghada meets Adel's friend, Dr. Zahy.

When Amal discovers that Ibrahim is seeing another woman, she thinks about killing herself. When Nay warns Ibrahim about Amal's reaction, he lies and says that he was with Nana. Gihan is saddened that Samir is pulling away from her.

Kamil is angry that Samir insists on sending him to rehab. Dr. Ahmed tells Samir that he will try to help by giving him sedatives. Kamil decides to deceive his mother by promising to stop taking drugs and going to rehab.

Amal confronts Ibrahim after she confirms that he is cheating on her. As Adel wakes up, he tells Ghada that he could hear her while he was unconscious. Adel confesses his feelings for Ghada. Lina tells Ibrahim to divorce Amal, who decides to go to Paris.

Dr. Ahmed and Nana catch Nabil and Sana in bed together. Ghada is forced to leave Adel and return to Beirut. Nadim warns Joud about her relationship with Mark. Sana tells Nana that she has been in a relationship with Nabil for five years, and that he married her for her money.

Nabil asks for a million dollars to divorce Nana but Ghada refuses and sues him. Samir decides to leave Lara and go back to Gihan. Sana asks for Ghada's protection after her family learns of her relationship with Nabil. Ghada agrees to give Nabil half a million dollars to divorce Nana and wed Sana.

Ahmed grows close to Nana. Adel's surgery succeeds. Nabil divorces Nana and weds Sana. Amal and Ibrahim's conflict escalates.

Amal tries to get close to Ibrahim and tells him that he is the love of her life. Gihan and Samir are on the rocks, and he considers divorce. Samir informs Kamil that he is leaving Gihan and asks him to look after his siblings. Wessam complains about Joud but Ghada insists that he look after her.

Ibrahim tells Amal that he is going to divorce her and give her half of his fortune. Ahmed asks Nana to get over Nabil. Ghada reprimands Ibrahim for leaving the hospital. When Sarah returns from Paris, Ghada suspects that she is hiding something.
