Malaterra

The seemingly peaceful seaside town of Malaterra is thrown into chaos when the body of a young boy is found.

When the gendarmerie discover a large amount of money in Nathan's room, Karine questions his sister; as the local and national press travel to Malaterra, the atmosphere between friends and neighbours turns to suspicion.

Pierre Viviani is taken into custody. Karine finds herself torn between her friendship for her family and the needs of the investigation.

The discovery of a torched boat sees the investigation resume, but once again leads to the closure of the beach. Affected by the decline in tourism, traders in Malaterra are beginning to lose patience.

After Nathan's funeral brings the community together, his skateboard is found; Captain Rotman keeps a watchful eye on Father Clement.

Karine takes over the investigation in the absence of Rotman; the noose tightens around Suzanne Leroy, who agrees to tell what she saw.

Karine's son's hard drive reveals that his relationship with Nathan had taken a turn; Rotman learns who Nathan called shortly before his death.
