Overview
Bottle Boys is an ITV sitcom produced for two series in 1984-85. Starring Robin Askwith as football-mad milkman Dave Deacon, the series mined comedy of the broadest sort from randy Dave's amorous adventures, in a style familiar to viewers from the Confessions films. However, as well as the sexual innuendo of his earlier big-screen adventures, Askwith was equally likely to find himself embroiled in more off-the-wall exploits, and found himself at various points in the series dressing up as a cow, inadvertently engaged to Sharon the secretary, and meeting then-Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

Things That Go Bump in the Night
Stan loses the key to the safe and Deacon offers to spend the night in the dairy to guard the cash.
I Gotta Horse
After Jock correctly predicts the outcome of three consecutive horse races, even Deacon has to admit he seems to possess 'the feeling'. The lads quickly pull together a syndicate, hoping to be millionaires by the end of the day.
Out of the Frying Pan
The egg marketing board ropes in the dairy to help increase sales by promoting a cooking demonstration event. Deacon is selected for special duties but has to wear some rather unflattering gear...
If the Cap Fits
It's promotion time at the milk depot. Deacon's efforts to be the winner in the chicken selling drive leads him into trouble.
High Noon
Residents have started moving into a new estate, which means extended rounds – that is, until Dawson's rival, Marshal's, reneges on a deal about how to divide up the streets. Deacon finds himself defending Dawson's honour.
I Love Paris
When Billy wins a trip for two to Paris, Deacon inveigles himself with the second ticket on the basis of playing wingman for picking up French girls.
The Milk Cup Runneth Over
Chelsea are playing Arsenal in the Milk Cup, and as a true blue, Deacon is desperate to be in attendance – by any means necessary!
