A look at how the sport turned from a niche interest in the 1960s and 70s into a mainstream event, thanks largely to players such as Alex Higgins - whose style of play and personal life led to a boom in the 80s - Jimmy White and Ronnie O'Sullivan.
The Motorsport Mavericks
Gabriel Clarke presents a guide through a gallery of top-level racers who have provided some of the most memorable thrills and spills. Including archive footage and interviews with Barry Sheene, James Hunt, Colin Chapman, Joey Dunlop and Jason Plato, along with contributions from Matt Neal, Steve Parrish, Steve Plater, Mark Blundell and James Allen.
The Boxing Mavericks
