Drama about a local choir. The arrival of glamorous and mysterious soprano Layla turns local choirmaster Michael and his wife Esther's lives upside down.
Episode 2
Drama about a local choir. Having entered the choir into a contest, Layla encourages Michael to be ruthless in pursuit of success, including getting rid of church caretaker Shrek.
Episode 3
Drama about the trials and tribulations of a small town choir. When new members Sofija and Nemanja annoy Gilbert and Ethel Tonks, Gilbert threatens to ruin their wedding plans.
Episode 4
Michael's choir are rehearsing hard for the North West Choral heats and, determined not to be outdone by their rivals, Jimmy and Olive enter Esther's choir too.
Episode 5
Drama about the trials and tribulations of a small town choir. The death of Binsey's brother comes as a shock to all his friends, but there is an even bigger surprise in store.
