Niurca and Ricardo open a term deposit account at a bank in Panama, which strengthens Ricardo's ties with the cartel even more; Lena asks Ricardo to break away from the cartel, but he lets her know it is not that easy.

Gerardo admits to Ricardo that he is working for Escolar; Amanda belives Anala could be her cousin's accomplice; Lena is promoted to manager at the bank.

Ricardo examines the plane and realizes it doesn't belong to a collector, but to the Federal Police; Ricardo learns Thompson works for the Senate, so he runs away to El Salvador.

It becomes public that Cali Cartel has ordered Ricardo to kill Flavio Escolar; Manuel tells Ricardo to take a vacation to get away from the organization; Edilberto tells Manuel to turn himself into police.

Ricardo is discharged from the military reserve; Ricardo fakes his own death during the explosion caused by Escolar and Agredo prevents Lena from being hurt.

The Ramrez-Orjuela kill two of Escolar's men as a warning; Ricardo tries to find the way to break away from the cartel; Manuel tells Ricardo that Escolar has been captured.

Manuel is not willing to hand himself over to the authorities because he's not happy with the conditions; Oquendo kills one of Manuel's men for sexually harassing his wife Sandra, but a man sees him and reports the murder to the police.

Ricardo manages to obtain Oquendo's radio frequency to get information; Manuel commands his men to kill Oquendo and comforts Sandra; Marcelo's brother tells Sandra the Ramrez and Orjuela families had Marcelo killed.

The colonel tells Palencia that he already knows everything; Manuel explains to Sandra that he only wants to protect her.

The search unit shows up at Manuel's home, but he manages to escape with Palencia's help; Calleja tells Ricardo Irene has died in an accident.

Ricardo obtains pictures and videos in which Nelly and Vzquez are exposed; Alejo escapes from his home to meet Ricardo; Ricardo finds the microphone that Vzquez placed in Manuel's office.

Amanda and Anala attend Wilson's event to meet with Sandra, but the search unit shows up; Heraldo tells Manuel on the phone he has full control of the presidential campaign.

Otero orders Jaime to asks the Cali cartel for more money, but he admits to be really scared of them; Colonel Vsquez discovers the cartel has attached a bug to the prosecutor's office's phone.

Ignoring whether the informant is still loyal to the Cali cartel or has been convinced by Escolar to damage it, Ricardo arrives at the Basilica to face the enemy.

Palomino admits to being the Ramrez-Orjuela brothers' accountant; the General orders the Colonel to quit his post in the military and to hand over the non-official documents he is supposed to have.

Ricardo tells Ramss Manuel suspects he is passing on information to the DEA; Fernando proposes to Lena; the General orders the Colonel to move to Urab.

Ricardo shows up at the notary because he will be Fernando's best man; Ricardo admits having invested in Fernando's company with the only aim of laundering money; the police show up at Edilberto's house and arrest him.

Manuel threatens Ricardo that, if he doesn't help him avoid being caught, he will reveal the names of the people Ricardo has bribed, who betrayed him, how they developed the constitution and the details of the election.

Ricardo finds out Samuel has been released on bail; Lena is upset after finding out Ricardo is again in trouble because of the cartel.

Ricardo tells two DEA agents he can work with them to capture Manuel; Wilson tells Manuel Ricardo is betraying them.
