Kim returns to the family farm to create her forever home while Ethan struggles to start over in Georgia. Newlyweds, Lydia and Zac finally confront the Plath family about issues that hurt them leading up to their wedding day.

Old wounds resurface as the Plath family navigates their issues. Kim throws a "starting over" party, but tension follows when Lydia shows up to work. Moriah has fun wig shopping with Ethan and Amber, followed by a Halloween outing where Isaac blindsides Kaylynn.

As Isaac and Kaylynn deal with the fallout from Halloween, Barry is ready to start dating for the first time in 25 years. Kim puts her trust in Lydia's hands as she attempts to mend old fences. Ethan wrestles putting it all on the line in a make-or-break decision.

Barry and Ken have an awkward exchange. Isaac is devastated over his decision to leave Kaylynn. Barry turns to a matchmaker as he embarks on his dating journey. Ethan decides the only way to get Teegan back is by doing something very unexpected.

Moriah gives a glimpse into her life in Montana. Isaac looks for a reconciliation with Kaylynn. Ethan hopes his rather complicated plan to surprise Teegan doesn't backfire. Barry learns what people are saying about him in town.

Ethan returns to Cairo for Thanksgiving before officially moving to Wisconsin to be closer to his ex-girlfriend, Teegan. Kim makes a surprising admission to the family, Barry hunts for Bigfoot, and Zac inserts himself into Ethan's "situationship."

After a tense start in Montana, Ethan sets out to repair his relationship with Teegan but is met with the cold shoulder; meanwhile, Lydia and Zac navigate feeling like outsiders as everyone vacations in Montana; Barry gets serious about Bigfoot.

Ethan continues to try to win back Teegan's heart, but Moriah, Isaac, and Kaylynn worry it's too little too late. Ken confronts Kim about her weight. Lydia dishes on the intimate details of married life. And a worried Kim drives to Wisconsin to check on Ethan.

Kim helps Ethan settle into his new home in Wisconsin and has a heart-to-heart with Teegan. Isaac and Kaylynn spend a memorable evening with Lydia and Zac. Later, while Zac and Barry bond at a spa, Lydia joins Kim on her drive back to Georgia, where the conversation takes an unexpected turn, leaving Lydia speechless.

Barry goes on his first date in over 20 years! Kim and Lydia's tense car ride takes a big U-turn when Kim brings up Lydia and Zac's judgmental behavior directed at the family. Reeling from the car ride, Kim seeks counseling about Joshua's death for the first time.

After an emotional therapy session, Kim feels prepared to lead a family discussion about Joshua's death. Teegan joins Ethan in Georgia and learns some surprising news from Ethan. Before honoring Joshua, the family clears the air with Lydia and Zac about their recent choices.

The family confronts Lydia and Zac about their judgmental behavior and, later, comes together to honor their brother Joshua, who died 18 years ago. Still dealing with unresolved feelings, Lydia and Zac are handed another surprise from the family.
